Dear Alumni,
Our 2nd SPCC Alumni Basketball League was a great success with 16 teams participating in 80 regular season and playoff matches from November 2015 to June in 2016. Our 3rd basketball season will commence shortly and we are now open for enrolment.
For this season, the league will be organised by an external basketball league organiser, Sports Elite Limited. Please find below some details:
- The third season of SPCC Alumni Basketball League will take place from December 2016 or January 2017 to June 2017.
- Teams will sign up with SPCC Alumni Association (SPCCAA).
- Games will be organised by Sports Elite Limited, and will take place on weeknights or weekend afternoons in LCSD courts. Referees, time-keepers and scores will be provided by Sports Elite Ltd.
- Each team shall comprise up to 15 players.
- The indicative joining fee for each team is HK$7,500. This is based on 9 to 10 regular season games and playoffs. The exact amount will only be decided after the number of participating teams is confirmed.
- All players must be alumni of SPCC. Any player not a SPCC alumnus/alumna caught playing in any league game will result in disqualification of such player and his/her team.
- SPCCAA will identify sponsors who will SPONSOR 50% of the joining fees of alumni who are FULL-TIME students. Please indicate on the registration form and SPCCAA shall reimburse the pro-rata joining fee.
- Registration deadline: 30 November 2016.
If you are interested in forming a team and participating in the SPCC Alumni Basketball League, please fill in and return the attached registration form to Ms Carroll Yeung at St. Paul’s Co-educational College Alumni Association, No. 33 MacDonnell Road, Hong Kong or spccaa@spccaa.org on or before 30 November 2016. Please read the terms and conditions on the registration form carefully.
After enrolment, we will contact you regarding payment details.
